How Kandid may be used, and by whom

Kandid is operated by YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY (the "Company"). This page explains the terms on which you are granted access to the service.

Kandid is a hosted software-as-a-service product. You are granted a right to access and use the service under an active subscription — you do not purchase, download, or receive a copy of the software or its source code. By creating an account or using Kandid, you agree to these terms together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What You Receive

Hosted access to Kandid for as long as your subscription is active, with the features included in your plan. You keep ownership of your catalogue data, brand content, and customer conversations.

Team Access

Where your plan supports it, you may invite members of your own organisation. You remain responsible for their use of the service and for activity under your account. Contact support@kandid.ai about plans and seats.

Software as a Service

Kandid is operated by YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY (the "Company"). Kandid is a hosted software-as-a-service product. You are granted access to use the service; you do not purchase, download, or receive a copy of the software or its source code.

Agreement to Terms

Your use of Kandid is governed by this licence together with our Terms of Service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by both.

Subscription-Based Access

Access rights are tied to an active subscription. The features available to you depend on your subscription tier, and access continues for as long as that subscription remains active.

License Grant

Grant of Access

Subject to your compliance with these terms and your subscription remaining in good standing, YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use Kandid for your own business purposes.

Scope of Use

You may use Kandid to operate AI sales agents and storefront features on properties you own or are authorised to manage, in accordance with your subscription tier and our documentation.

Organisation and Team Access

Where your plan supports multiple users, you may grant access to members of your own organisation. You remain responsible for their use of the service and for any activity under your account.

Your Content and Data

You Retain Ownership

You retain all rights to the product data, catalogue content, brand materials, and customer conversations you bring to or generate through Kandid. YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY does not claim ownership of your content.

Licence to Operate the Service

You grant us the limited right to host, process, and transmit your content strictly as necessary to provide the service to you — for example, to train your agent on your catalogue and to deliver conversations to your customers.

Handling of Personal Data

Our collection and processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.

Restrictions

No Resale or Redistribution

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease access to Kandid, or make the service available to any third party outside your own organisation.

No Reverse Engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the service.

Lawful Use Only

You may not use Kandid for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, or in a way that breaches the laws or regulations of your jurisdiction, including those governing consumer protection, advertising, and data protection.

Service Integrity

You may not interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

Company Ownership

YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY retains all right, title, and interest in and to Kandid, including its software, models, interfaces, documentation, and branding.

No Transfer of Rights

This licence grants a right of access only. Nothing in it transfers to you any ownership interest in the service or its intellectual property.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about the service, we may use it to improve Kandid without obligation or restriction.

Term and Termination

Duration

This licence remains in effect for as long as your subscription is active. It ends automatically when your subscription ends or is terminated.

Termination for Breach

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, in accordance with the process set out in our Terms of Service.

Effect of Termination

On termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions relating to ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Service Provided "As Is"

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kandid is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

AI-Generated Output

Kandid uses AI models to generate responses and recommendations. Output may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing how the service is configured to represent your brand and products.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this section limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the laws applicable to you as a consumer or business.

Limitation of Liability

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YOUSEAI TECHNOLOGY will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Kandid.

Cap on Liability

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Non-Excludable Liability

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

General Provisions

Relationship to Other Terms

This licence should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where this licence and the Terms of Service address the same subject, the Terms of Service prevail.

Changes to This Licence

We may update this licence from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date below, and continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.

Severability

If any provision of this licence is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
